CommunicationsKAOS has a significant online presence, making use of various mailing lists, LiveJournal Communities and Facebook Groups. Opinions expressed by KAOS agents and affiliates may not represent the official viewpoint of the club(s), and may very well be howlingly stupid; this is the internet we're talking about. Facebook GroupsThe KAOS Facebook Group has been growing lately as Facebook adds our cultural distinctiveness to the collective. There are specific groups/pages for Canterbury, Otago and VUW There is no Cthulhu Cult group. LiveJournal CommunitiesMany many KAOS agents are members of the KAOSians community, and quite a few post links ranging from the sublime to the ridiculous in KAOS Memepool. Other KAOS communities include:
There is no Cthulhu Cult community. Mailing ListsKAOS has two types of mailing list, lists devoted to various KAOS activities, and lists devoted to specific KAOS branches. This is a list of public KAOS mailing lists. If you know of any others, you'll already know how to access them. Some of these lists can be also be viewed here. There may even be a list we've forgotton to put on these pages. Others are hosted elsewhere, don't use the Mailman mailing list software, don't appear for technical reasons or are classified. Where the list-name is a link, you can click on it to join. Isn't modern technology wonderful. Most of these lists, except for the discussion list use Mailman commands to subscribe/unsubscribe and so on, so if you don't usually have web access, you can subscribe by sending a message with the word 'subscribe' in the body to the address you get by adding '-requests' to the list name (eg kea-requests@kaos.org.nz). You can get more information by sending mail to the request address with the word 'help' in it. Try not to be a tosser. Activities Lists
